Grace Eubanks
<p>Grace West Eubanks, 90, of Kinston transitioned from her earthly body to her heavenly body on August 5, 2022. She was preceded to heaven by her parents, Pharoah James West and Lula Parker West; daughter, Elsie Grace; son David Alton Eubanks; brothers Roy Lee, James, Lenzor, Oliver, and PJ West; sisters, Emma Mae Tyndall, Lula Baugus and Lina Eubanks; son-in-law Allen Huettl and her fur babies Lady and Missy.</p> <p>She is survived by her son Dalton (Cathy) Eubanks of Grifton; her daughters Nancy (Leonard) Elden of Greenville, Jo-Ann Huettl of the Home and daughter-in-law Pamela Scott Eubanks of Kinston; a very special nephew Mike Eubanks; her grandchildren, Dave, Belinda, Gary, Celeste, and Scott, several great-grandchildren along with several grand-fur babies.</p> <p>The accomplishments in her life were first and foremost her relationship with God and teaching Sunday School for 40+ years; her children and being what she referred to herself as “a real nurse” for 50+ years and led a lot of her patients to the Lord.</p> <p>We are thankful for the assistance received from Community Home Care and Hospice and especially Heather Henderson who went above and beyond to provide exceptional care, along with her co-workers Angie and Debbie.</p> <p>Also, a special thank you to: Vidant Hospital staff, specifically Dr. Lineberry, Dr. Patel, and Dr. White and hospice coordinators Cassondra and Jessica, and the numerous nurses and clinical staff.</p> <p>We can never express our gratitude of a long time, special friend, Louise Lima for always being there for all of us.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to Community Home Care and Hospice, Kinston, NC.</p> <p>The funeral will be a graveside service with visitation immediately following at Westview Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 with Rev. Linda Rowe officiating.</p> <p>At the family’s request, there will be no home visitation.</p>Obituary
