Cecil Lewis Morgan, 85, of Troutville, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Springtree Health and Rehab. He was born on June 20, 1937 to the late John L. and the late Daisy Pagans Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Stump Morgan; a grandson, Jonathan; brothers and sisters, Lin Morgan, Buford Morgan, Joe Morgan and Hazel Hannabass.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Wimmer (Tony), Jennifer Foutz (Darnell); grandchildren, Brittany (Travis Moore), Kaitlyn, Josh, Alex, Mady, Sammy; great grandchildren, Rowan, Ryleigh and baby Campbell; brother, Bill Morgan, sister, Marie Leonard; special friend, Darlene Jordan and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Monday, August 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM in the Oyler’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
