Mary Ann (Duprea) Robert, 86, of Plainfield, MA died on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Adams, MA.
Mary was born in Adams, MA on November 16, 1935 a daughter of Theodore Andrew Duprea and Beatrice Florence (Champagne) Lincoln. She attended schools in Adams.
Mary was employed by the former Sprague Electric Company for many years until her retirement and also served as vice president of the union at Sprague. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church in Adams. Mary was a member of the Board of Directors for the Adams Housing Authority. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed hockey and baseball. She was also a diehard fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Mary was the widow of Joseph A.B. Robert who died on May 23, 1999. They were married on August 30, 1958. Survivors include one daughter- Lynn Marie (Wayne) Hubbard of Plainfield, MA and seven grandchildren including, William Malloy, Gary (Tammy) Malloy, Katrina Malloy, Megan Malloy Watts, Katie (Wayne) Casterline, Wayne (Jamie) Hubbard Jr., Brittany (Dan) Start; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Mary also leaves her sisters- Frances Miles of Adams; Eleanor Hill of Adams and Margaret (Robert) Therrien of Adams and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Malloy on October 11, 2021; her son in law-William Malloy on November 4, 2020 and her brothers, Gerald Duprea, Raymond Duprea and Donald Duprea.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary Robert will be celebrated on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Notre Dame Church in Adams, MA. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery at a later date. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS-WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Monday from 9:00-11:00 AM.
