Nicholas J. Bereschak, Jr.

Nicholas J. Bereschak, Jr., Lt. Col. USAF, PaANG (ret), 56 ,of Hershey, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 30, 2022. He was born August 2, 1965 in Pottsville, PA, a son of the late Nicholas and Eleanore (Souchack) Bereschak. He was a 1983 graduate of Hershey High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University. Nicholas served in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1994 and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard from 1996 to 2015. LtCol Bereschak served in combat deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and many other locations. He was a self employed computer programmer and independent contractor currently employed by the United States Navy. Nick was devoted to his family and enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings . His other hobbies and interests included cooking, Nascar and baseball. Surviving are his; sister, Barbara A. Bereschak (husband Tom Imboden) , brother, Brian P. Bereschak, brother, Thomas A. Bereschak (wife Chrissy). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 6th at St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109 with Father Taras Lovska as celebrant. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be following the mass in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to www.ASPCA.org or the Specialoperationswarriorfund.org Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey is handling the arrangements.
