Phyllis Oszust of Sechelt, BC passed away peacefully with family members by her side on July 12, 2022 at the ripe old age of 100. She was active and positive until the very end, enjoying restaurant outings, shopping and walks by the duck pond.
Born in Toronto on January 15, 1922, she and her husband Larry moved to Sechelt from North Vancouver in 1982 after building their dream home in Sandy Hook. Phyllis was an active member of Catholic Charities, The Catholic Women's League, the Women's Auxiliary and during her stay on earth, she travelled to almost every country on the planet. She wishes to be remembered for "The love she had for all her family". She is survived by her daughter Valerie, son John and his wife Monica. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Christensen Village who cared for her for during her last two years.
Memorial services will be held at Devlin Funeral Home in Gibsons at 1pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
