Patrick Dean Pannell

Patrick Dean Pannell, 61, of Millwood, WV, passed away on October 10, 2021, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. He was born on November 3, 1960, in Ripley, WV, son of Shirley Pannell, and the late Charles Dean Pannell. Patrick attended Calvary Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, enjoyed watching the birds on the porch with his dog, Ginger, and spending time with his family. He retired from Constellium and was a member of Steelworkers Local Union 5668. He was a 1979 graduate of Ravenswood High School where he played baseball and football. Patrick is survived by his wife, Robin; mother, Shirley; children, Stacy Wratchford (John), and Samantha Simmons; 10 grandchildren, Corey, Natalie, Ryan, Emily, Candace, Aydan, Caleb, Savannah, Issac, and Jacob; brothers, Mike Pannell (Kelly), and Ronnie Pannell (Debbie); brothers-in-law, Mike (Wanda), Rodney (Heather), and Randy; nephews, Andrew, Ben(Allison), Clancy (Sarah), Cody, William, Matthew, and Mikey; 2 grandnieces, Alex and Rae Lynn; 2 grandnephews, Jack and William; and many other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Pannell. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, time of service.
