Bunner, 75, of Belleville, WV, passed away on May 24, 2016, at CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV. He was born on March 5, 1941, in Ripley, WV, son of James A. and Estee Nola Pursley Bunner. James was a member of EAA, where he won AIRVENTURE OSHKOSH in 2009. Once when he was hauling skydivers, he ran out of gas and landed on State Route 50. He was former president of Jackson County Pilot's Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a great father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all. He was retired as a Color Specialist with the General Electric. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Walton, Sandyville, WV; son, J.R. Bunner, Sandyville, WV; granddaughters, Jennifer, Jessica, Nettie and Chloe; grandsons, Christopher (Samantha) Garnes, and Brandon (Megan) Davis; 7 great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews; and fiance, Brenda Durbin, North Carolina. Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Rob Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery.
