Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Calling Hours: Sunday, February 3 (5-7PM) Location of Services: St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ravenswood Time of Services: Monday, February 4 (10AM) Officiated By: Father Pen Jo Ann Lasko, 83, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters, Phyllis, Sonja and Lory, on January 30, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on May 12, 1935, in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Nelson and Josephine Wacowski Harris. She was a very active member at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Ravenswood where she could very often be found helping to prepare for Mass and making sure the devotional candles were in proper order. She was also a reader at Mass, a Eucharist Minister and a long-time member of the Ladies Guild. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She worked over 20 years for the Jackson County Board of Education, first as a cook and then as a Teachers Aid for kindergarten at Henry J. Kaiser School in Ravenswood. Jo Ann is survived by her children, Phyllis Lyons (Rick), Sonja Foutty (David), Lory Osborn (Brian); grandchildren, Todd Westfall and Sarah Foutty; and great grandson, Preston Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lasko; and sons, Daniel and Eric Lasko. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood on Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ravenswood on Monday, February 4, 2019, at 10:00 am with Father Pen officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery.
