He was born on January 7, 1941, in Ravenswood, WV. He was a graduate of Ravenswood High School and a lifelong resident of Ravenswood. He spent a majority of his life in the trucking business. He enjoyed music and working with others. He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren and their activities. Bob was a member of the CB Club, and he was a terminal manager with BESL Transfer. Bob is survived by his partner in life, Jean Easley; daughters, Robin Lynn Bellamy (Doug); and Amy Elizabeth Taylor (Tim); stepchildren, Rona Lee Murray Atkinson (Alan); and Dale Leon Murray, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Derek, Hannah, Emma, John David, and Sophie; 1 great grandchild, Sara; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, with Joe Kiefer officiating. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Saturday, January 5, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The family would like to express a special "Thank you" to Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.
