Denise was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mason, WV, and a current member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Ravenswood, WV. She was a graduate of Wahama High School, class of "75" and a graduate of WVUP. Dee retired as a storeroom attendant from Century Aluminum. She then worked as a certified medical coder at Eldercare of Ripley. She was a devoted mother and MeMe, a loving sister and aunt. She was a genuine and kind soul. She is survived by her companion of 17 years, Kenneth Cozart of Portland, OH; daughters, Jayme Miller Hill and husband, Dean of Portland, OH, Hannah Miller Legar and husband Kirk, of Pomeroy, OH; stepdaughter, Monica Miller Cox Bryan and husband, Tom of Parkersburg, WV; her most precious grandchildren (as MeMe would call them), Jace and Piper Hill, Allie and Kenzie Legar; loved step grandchildren, Desiree, Alexis and Brayden Cox; loving sister and best friend, Deborah Michael of Roanoke, VA; younger brother, Glen Werry of Pomeroy, OH; nephews and niece, Christopher Michael, Carmen Dillon Mitchell (Rick), and Jonathon Dillon (Ella).
