Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Calling Hours: Thursday, February 9 (6-8PM) Location of Services: Free Will Baptist Church Time of Services: Friday, February 10 (1:30PM) Phyllis Louise Long, 72, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on February 6, 2017, at Carehaven of Pleasants in Belmont, WV. She was born on April 21, 1944, in Newport, Ohio, daughter of the late Wayne Simeon and Mabel Eileene Gracey Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Long and Terry Frye; brothers, Gerald and Danny Thomas; and sister-in-law, Trudy Thomas. Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother who loved doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by three daughters, Melanie Tidd and companion, Bill Payne, Melissa (Kenneth) Knopp, and Tiffiny Long and fianc, Kevin Wright; one son, Willis Long; four grandchildren, Keith Tidd, Kristen Nichols, Peyton and Garrett Roush; brothers, Kay (Barbara) Thomas, Lewis Thomas, and Cecil (Cheryl) Thomas; sisters, Linda (Jim) Griffith, Mary (Darrell) Smith, and Kathy (David) Binegar; sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 1:30 pm at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ravenswood with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
