He married Judith Ann Keener Pride on June 24, 1955. They had 6 children: Debra Heilmann, Diana Harmon, Timothy Pride, Donna Balser, and Jennifer Campbell; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Pride. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Ruth Sergent officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery in Sandyville, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Monday, June 5 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
