He was born on December 14, 1926, in Ravenswood, son of the late Marshall A. and Grace Slaven Milhoan. Henry was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy as a Seaman First Class. He received the Pacific and American Theater Ribbon and the Victory Medal. He liked to fish, hunt, and play cards. He was a retired mechanic with the Pepsi Cola Company. He is survived by his sons, Alfred (Charlotte) Milhoan of Belleville, WV, and Donald Milhoan of Ravenswood; daughters, Kathleen Milhoan of Ravenswood, and Deborah Stephens of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Alan, Darlene (Aaron), Charlene (Mike), Daniel (Paula), Tiffany (Blake), Jennifer (Clayton), and Amanda (Kenny); great grandchildren, Cierra, Brayden, Logan, Jackson, Kensi, Grace, Keisha, Corey, Balea, Jack, Xander, and Rowan; sister, Patricia (Lee) Delong; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean; son, Joseph; daughter, Barbara Joann Milhoan; sisters, Lorena Reed and Margaret Hiser. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 12:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery on Skull Run Road, Ravenswood, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, time of service.
