He was born on November 27, 1931, in Garretts Bend in Lincoln County, WV, son of the late Alpha and Myrtle Smith Harless. Noah was a coal miner at Peabody Coal Company in Boone County, WV. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his children, Frank Harless of Roane County, WV; Gail Miller of Boone County, WV; and Richard Harless of Sandyville, WV; 5 grandchildren, Lester, Forrest, Thomas, Samuel and Angel; and several great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Saturday, January 21, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
