He was born on February 28, 1958, in Canton, Ohio, son of the late Chester M. Francis, Sr. and Sarah Jane Hopkins Francis Weaver. He was a manager at Ravenswood Domino's Pizza. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bruce Weaver, Sr.; infant son, Chester Manuel Francis III; grandparents, George Hopkins, Sr. and Violet Bowers; grandmother, Nina Allen, whom he loved dearly; brothers-in-law, Ronald McMaster, Sr. and Theodore Wilford; nephew, Ronald McMaster, Jr.; aunt, Donna Allen; and sister-in-law, Pam Pierce. Chester is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Lawrence Francis; children, Mary Francis (Ronnie Hysell), and Melissa Francis; grandchildren, Chrissonia (Brandon) Carter, Travis (Missy Casto) Francis, Bradley (Taya) Hysell, Derek Hysell, Shawn Francis, and Alexis Francis; great grandchildren, Bentley DeLong, Kade Carter, Luke Francis, Levi Casto, Aiden Carter, Ayleigha Carter, and Alexa Carter; sister, Reattia McMaster, brother, Lewis (Dawn) Francis; mother-in-law, Mary King; several nieces and nephews; special aunts and uncles, George (Patsy) Hopkins, Walter (Donna) Allen, Dave Allen, and Patty (Norman) Hysell; sisters-in-law, Nancy Wilford, Debbie (Tom) Drake, Joellen (Chuck) Kinnan, Robert (Julie) Lawrence, and Timmy Lawrence.
