Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Visitation Hours: Monday, July 29 (5-8PM) Service Location: Roush Funeral Home Service Time: Tuesday, July 30 (12PM) David Wayne Shockey, 38, went home to be with The Lord on July 26, 2019. He lived for his four children and fiance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Local 1085 Laborers union. He was preceded in death by his father, Denzil Wayne Shockey; grandparents Bob and Martha Shockey and June Brown. He is survived by his loving fiance, Angie Smith; his children, Emily, Zayda, Madalynn, and Gavyn Shockey of Evans, WV; his mother, Robin Shockey, of Ravenswood, WV; grandfather, Gene Brown of Ravenswood, WV; brothers, Robbie (Jessica) Shockey of Sandyville, WV, and Eric (Megan) Shockey of Cottageville, WV; sisters, Corrina (Sean) Montgomery of Racine, OH, and Rachale (Nick) Wolfe of Ravenswood, WV; nieces and nephews, Julia, Kiersten, Andrew, Hayden, Lincoln, Remington, Wyatt, Winston and Rowan, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, July 29th from 5 pm-8 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV. The funeral service will follow Tuesday, July 30th at noon with visitation one hour prior to service. Reverend Roger Cummings will officiate. Burial to follow at Ravenswood Cemetery.
