David Llewellyn Pelletier

David Llewellyn Pelletier, 73, passed peacefully, with his family surrounding him, on 7/31/22 in Barkhamsted CT. Born 3/20/49, he grew up in Prospect, CT & served his country in the Army in Vietnam, as a brown water riverboat sailor. He married his wife of 50 years, Judith (Lovallo) Pelletier on 12/18/71 & raised 2 daughters, Jodie (Darren) Bishop & Sandra Pelletier Ostrander He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Raymond Pelletier & Patricia (Smart) Pelletier & his step mother, Molly Pelletier as well as his sister, Cathi Pelletier; his sister in law, LeeAnn Pelletier and son in law, "blue water sailor" Robert Ostrander. His only son, Eric David passed away as an infant in 1974 at 10 months old. Aside from his wife & daughters, he is survived by his brother, Ronald Pelletier, His sisters, Carole (Ben) Grabowski, Judy (Mike) Sikorski, Patti Pelletier & Bonnie (David) Heald. Also his son in law Alvah (Kim) Kish. He was the greatest Papa in the world to his grandchildren, Alex Pelletier, Emily & Amy Kish, Brandon Spring & Marcy Ostrander. He also leaves many beloved Nephews, nieces & grand nephews & nieces. A celebration of his life will be held 9/4/22 on the mountain. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, New Hartford has care of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to tunnels to towers. (T2T.ORG) Which supports veterans & their families.
