Dr. John Charles Sherwood Cameron
John stopped living on earth on Friday July 29, 2022, but will continue to live on in so many hearts forever.<br><br>The eldest of six children, he was most amazed at how wonderful his two children, John Brooks and Anne, evolved to adulthood and gave him the title of grandfather that he wore with pride and laughter.<br><br>His other title, orthopaedic surgeon, benefitted many besides himself.<br><br>Skiing, running, bicycling and pure exercise were his daily bread!<br><br>John will be missed by so many of us. Wendy, his wife; JB (Sheena) and Anne (Adam), his children; Maddy, Nora and Evie, his grandchildren. His siblings, Martha, Mary, Sarah, Sandy and David; and his friends, who are too many to mention.<br><br>The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12th. John’s memorial will take place in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.<br><br> <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital.
