Dicie Ann Perry Thompson, 90, of Genoa, WV passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery, Genoa. She was born November 11, 1931 at Genoa, WV, a daughter of the late John and Sidney “Siddie” Louise Moore Perry. Dicie was a member of the Genoa Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenden Thompson, a sister, Hazel Francis, brothers, Frennie Perry, Tom Perry, Harry Perry, Bud “Kin” Perry, Jesse Fox Perry, John Bill Perry and infant brother, Roy Perry. Dicie is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann Thompson of Wayne, WV; a special niece, Mary Perry Sword who helped care for Dicie; and a host of additional nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.
