Poucher, 88, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-no-proof: no;">Born on July 29, 1934, in Clermont, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Broast) Dembosky.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rita was a graduate of Germantown High School. She was a switchboard operator and greeter at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY for over her 30 years until her retirement in 2020.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-no-proof: no;">In her free time, Rita was a member of Tivoli Ladies Auxiliary. Rita was an avid bowler and participated in leagues in Hudson for a number of years.
