Ernestine M. Blasberg

Ernestine "Ernie" M. Blasberg, formally of Hastings-on-Hudson, 86, died after a long illness on Sunday, November 27, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born July 12, 1925 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Linehart. Ernie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Blasberg of Cary, NC; son, Phil and wife, Michelle of San Diego, CA, daughter, Julie Elizabeth of Clearwater, FL; 5 grandchildren, Casey, Joe, Lori, Zachary and Tiffany. Ernie was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Blasberg. Visiting Saturday 10AM to 12 Noon Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 3200 Atlantic Ave., Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27604.
