Sister Margaret Brackett, R.S.M. formerly Sister Mary Daniel, a member of the Sisters of Mercy, died in Watchung, NJ. on October 28, 2011. Sister was predeceased by her parents Mary and James and her brother Daniel. She was a dedicated teacher and principal in the Archdiocese of New York and also served for a number of years as Director of Vocations. Sister Margaret was a well known Spiritual Director at Retreat Centers in Canada and New Jersey. A wake will be held on Wednesday November 2nd at Marian Woods, Hartsdale, NY from 3-7 PM with a Prayer Service at 6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, November 3rd at 10 AM at Marian Woods. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sisters of Mercy, 150 Ridge Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530Obituary
