Kathleen Sommer, 85 a long time resident of Dobbs Ferry passed away on May 22, 2015. Born in Bayside Queens, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Palmer. On February 16, 1952, Kathleen married her beloved Donald Sommer at Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. They remained parishioners and were active in the church for many years. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. Kathleen is survived by her sons Michael Rebecca and Richard Susan, daughters Kathy and Mary John and grandchildren Tesia, Adoria, Chris, Rachel, David, Samantha, Anna and Andrew. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Daley. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2010. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00am Thursday Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington.
