Joseph "Joey" Omboni, Jr.

Joseph Omboni, Jr. Joey 27, a resident of Ossining and Dobbs Ferry died tragically on June 3, 2012. He was born in Yonkers, NY the son of Joseph and Lisa Parlante Omboni. Joey graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains and attended Pace University in Pleasantville. He was the owner of Dobbs Ferry Automotive in Dobbs Ferry. Joey was also a Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Firefighter for seven years and a member of the Livingston Hose Company. Joey was a Freemason and a member of the Briarcliff Lodge F&AM 1155. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. Joey took great pleasure in helping other people. His survived by his parents Joseph and Lisa, brother Michael J., grandparents Joseph and Margaret Omboni and NickJunior and Terry Parlante, uncle Nick Carol Parlante III, cousin Nicholas Parlante IV, aunt RoseMarie Drew Miller and cousin Nicole Miller. Mass of the Resurrection 11:00AM Friday Church of the Immaculate Conception, 16 N. Broadway Irvington, NY. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday today and Thursday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home Memorials to the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Fire Dept., 112 Main St., Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 appreciated.
