Anthony Rosario Fava

Anthony Rosario Fava, 65, a Scarsdale resident for over 30 years, died on April 7, 2012. Born in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Rosario and Agnes Fava. Anthony graduated from St. John's University in 1968 where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting. He worked in the accounting department of the NY Times for 15 years. In 1987, he began his own accounting practice which he operated until his passing. He married the love of his life, Marie, at Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church on August 14, 1971. Anthony was an avid NY Yankees fan and had a wealth of knowledge regarding baseball trivia. He also enjoyed attending oldies concerts, fly fishing and watching classic movies. Anthony is survived by his wife Marie, 2 sons, Richard and Salvatore, daughter Denise Leo Napior, brother Joseph and brother-in-law Salvatore Merante. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed. Mass of the Resurrection Thursday 10AM Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scarsdale, NY. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, Dobbs Ferry, NY.
