John J. Lombardo Obituary

Lombardo, John J., 93 of Ardsley, died February 22, 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, the son of Paul and Rosa Lombardo. John was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served in WW II from 1941 to 1945. On December 9, 1945 John married Rose Fazzolare in Brooklyn. They moved to Ardsley 54 years ago. He was a member of the Ardsley American Legion Post 458, The James Daly Post 200 VFW in Hastings and ELKS Lodge 2690 in White Plains. John was named Elk of the year in 1990. John and his wife Rose are long time parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ardsley. Surviving besides his wife Rose, are his children, Susan Lombardo, Paul Joan Lombardo and Andrea John Consiglio. John is the devoted grandfather of Joseph, Matthew, Michael and Alisa Lombardo. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 10 am Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 535 Ashford Ave., Ardsley, NY. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Assoc appreciated.
