Murray H. Reiser

Murray H. Reiser, 85, a long time Hastings-on-Hudson resident died January 21, 2012. Murray served in the US Navy during WW II. On May 5, 1951 he married Florence Libidinsky in New York City. Together they lived in the Bronx and Yonkers before settling in Hastings. He was a manufacturer's representative in the home furnishings business and later the owner of Reiser Associates in New York City. He was well-respected in his field. Murray graduated from Columbia University and was a long-time supporter of their football team. He was an avid tennis player, NY Giants and Yankees fan. Murray had a great love for dogs. Survivors include his beloved wife Florence, loving children Seth Pam and Robert Tina. He is the devoted grandfather to Rachel, Frank, Madeline and Alexandra. His is also survived by his sister, Claire Untracht and was predeceased by his sister Natalie Daniels. Funeral Monday today, 10 AM Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
