Jane Andres
Jane Madeleine Andres, of Dobbs Ferry NY, passed away on September 9, 2014. Jane was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Andres. She was predeceased by siblings Charles, John and Grace, and is survived by 12 nieces and nephews. Jane graduated from Rosemount College and pursued a career in advertising, fashion and home furnishings. Jane held positions with Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Gourmet magazines, Doyle Dane Bernbach, and Wedgewood. In her later years Jane worked for the Church of the Sacred Heart in Dobbs Ferry. Jane was a true New Yorker who enjoyed reading and travel. Mass of the Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday October 4, 2014 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Dobbs Ferry, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Food for the Hungry, 18 Bellewood Avenue, Dobbs Ferry NY 10522.Obituary
