Douglas G. Keehan, 56, of Port St. Lucie, passed away at his home on June 17, 2014. Doug was born to George and Mary Keehan in Dobbs Ferry, New York. In 1989, Doug left Ardsley, New York for Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was the owner and chef of Chef's Garden Restaurant in the Eastport Plaza in Port St. Lucie. Doug was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 513, and the American Legion Post 318, both in Port St. Lucie. His true passion was for cooking. Doug was predeceased by his father George Keehan. Doug is survived by his beloved mother Mary Keehan of Ardsley, NY; dear brother of Susan Mochol of Palm Bay, FL, Duane Keehan of Magnolia, KY, Michael Keehan of Gaylordsville, CT, David Keehan of Yorktown Heights, NY, and Maureen Graham of Staatsburg, NY; loving uncle of Jennifer Cannata, Brian Sumpf, Kimberley Braddock, Meredith Bale, Robert Graham, Catherine Graham, and Joshua Keehan. Visiting will be Sunday 4-8 pm at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale. Burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981; www.tchospice.org, or the Cancer Care, 275 Seventh Avenue, NY, NY 10001
