Linda Benedict Vecchione
Linda Benedict Vecchione died May 16, 2004. She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on January 7, 1947, daughter of Augustine John and Beatrice Benedict Vecchione. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Linda grew up in Mt. Vernon, later moved to Tuckahoe and for the past 26 years has lived in Dobbs Ferry. She was the manager of the Duane Reade in Port Chester. Linda was an avid reader a devoted Yankees Fan and a creative person. She is survived by her mother Beatrice of Dobbs Ferry, a brother Steven Marsha of CO, sister Denise Michael O'Connor of Holbrook, NY, aunts, Roberta Ciampi of Pelham and Phyllis Goldsmith of CO, a niece Lauren O'Connor and nephew Michael O'Connor. Funeral service 8:30pm Wednesday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Visiting Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-8:30pm. Memorials to the charity of your choice.Obituary
