Rosina Gagliardi

Rosina C. Gagliardi, 92 of Dobbs Ferry, passed away on February 20, 2014. Born in Ardsley, Rosina was the daughter to the late Umberto and Josephine Paolucci. She worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Greenburgh School District until her retirement in 1989. She is a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Dobbs Ferry, volunteering as a religious education teacher, the Altar Society and as secretary to the pastor. She also volunteered as a worker at the Pregnancy Care Center in White Plains and taught English to immigrants in Dobbs Ferry. She was predeceased by her husband Natale J. Gagliardi in 2002. Her beloved granddaughter Christine Gagliardi predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by her four children, Natale Joseph Diane, Mary Louise Liebman Robert, Rose Ann Prisament Marc and Angela Rogers Joe, Ten Grandchildren, N. Joseph III, Jennifer and Brian Liebman, Raymond, Gregory and Clifford Prisament, Nicholas, Christopher, Holly Ann and Jacob Rogers. Rosina's precious great grandchildren are Elena Christine, Clayton, Lucas Solomon and Conrad Prisament. Also surviving are her brother Bert Paolucci and sister Angela Noble; 11 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by four brothers, Dominic, Nicholas, Michael and Anthony Paolucci, two sisters Cecelia DiMaria and Mary Simonelli. There is no way to describe the joy that she received from her grandchildren, they will always be in her heart. To everyone who helped her through life especially her family, her teachers, doctors, priests and friends she gives her deepest gratitude. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 9:30am Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Visiting Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to Our Lady of Pompeii Church or the Little Sisters of the Poor appreciated.
