Robert Emmet Quirk

Robert Emmet Quirk, 91, of Hastings on Hudson, New York and Naples, Florida, beloved husband of Rita A. Quirk (Monahan) passed away on September 5, 2019. Father of Eileen (James) Santa Barbara of Southport, Connecticut and Robert E. Quirk, Jr. of New York, New York. Beloved Pop Pop to Olivia and Lauren Santa Barbara. Brother of the late Commander William J. Quirk. Bob was born in the Bronx, NY and was a graduate of Iona College, New Rochelle, New York and St. John's University Law School, Jamaica, New York. Bob was a founding member and partner of Quirk and Bakalor, P.C. where he practiced law for over 60 years. The firm, founded in 1967, was regarded as one of New York's leading defense firms, served a wide range of national clients, including insurers and major airline carriers. In addition to his dedication to the law, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irvington, New York.
