Louis M. Pascone, Jr.

Louis M. Pascone, Jr., 80 a life long Ardsley resident and village employee died September 17, 2010. Lou was born in Ardsley, the son of Louis and Antoinette Pascone. He attended Ardsley schools and served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He began his career with the Village of Ardsley in 1949. He worked for the Highway Dept until he was promoted to Ardsley's Superintendent of Highways. He was the Ardsley Man of the Year in 1993, and the week of April 21, 1993 was Louis Pascone week. February of 1994 was declared Louis Michael Pascone Recognition Month in Westchester. Lou had a great love for the Village of Ardsley. He coached many young people in baseball & always made sure the fields were ready for play. He was an active member of the American Legion. Lou never wanted any credit for his accomplishments. He preferred to stay in the back round and make sure everything was running smoothly. He will be greatly missed by his fellow workers and the residents of Ardsley. Lou is survived by his nephew and niece Robert and Roma Grant, his great nephews RJ Grant III and Noah Herman, his great nieces Kelly Grant, Sabrina Herman and Jordyn Herman. Lou was predeceased by his brother Carmine and his sister Sarah Grant. Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday 10:00 A.M. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 535 Ashford Avenue, Ardsley. Visiting Monday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
