Nicholas A. Parlante, Jr., 76 of Tarrytown, formerly of Dobbs Ferry passed away suddenly on July 5, 2017. Born and raised in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Nicholas, Sr and Mary Parlante. Mechanic, Business Owner, Entrepreneur and Inventor. Nicholas married Theresa Tassone on August 3, 1958 in the Bronx. They settled in Dobbs Ferry, where they resided for 45 years before moving to Tarrytown. JR enjoyed many weekends on his boat and spending time with his family and friends. His grandsons' accomplishments were a great source of pride. JR is survived by his wife Theresa, son Nicholas III (Carol) Parlante of Ossining, daughter Lisa (Joe) Omboni of Ossining, grandsons Michael J. Omboni and Nicholas A. Parlante, IV, sisters Marie Filizzola, Barbara "Bobbie" Koenig and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his grandson Joseph "Joey" M. Omboni, Jr in 2012.
