Jesse Taylor Kief, 19, of Irvington passed away on April 3, 2018. Jesse Taylor Kief will forever be remembered as a teacher of human spirit, perseverance and strength. He came into this world with a greater purpose then to be an ordinary human being. Jesse, born October 24, 1998 to Cindy and Steven Kief of Irvington, NY, shares his birthday with his twin brother, Jacob Robert Kief. Through significant challenges throughout his 19 years of life, Jesse, has touched many lives. Jesse will be remembered for his brilliant smile, his knowing glance, his quiet demeanor who, with no words, could command the presence of a room. The incredible caregivers, teachers, staff and medical personnel at The Center for Discovery in Harris, NY, where Jesse spent the majority of his life, shared that Jesse was a rare and unforgettable gift to this incredible community for people with physical, cognitive and intellectual disabilities. Jesse is survived by his mother, Cindy Kief, a real estate broker at William Ravies Legends Realty in Irvington, NY, his father, Steven Kief, owner of RKO Ltd, a kitchen and bath design firm located in Irvington, NY, his siblings, Jacob, 19, Anna, 15, Coco, 11, Jonathan, 33 and Nicole, 37.
