Carmella "Millie" Melito, 94, a long time Irvington resident died May 6, 2010. She was born in Dobbs Ferry the daughter of Matteo and Marie Perillo. Millie was a telephone operator with Bell Telephone for 32 years. She was a member of the Pioneers. Millie volunteered at the VA hospital in Montrose. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1048 Dobbs Ferry. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Millie is survived by her daughter Elaine Torezan and her husband Peter, Her cherished granddaughter Jennifer Torezan, and by her brother Anthony Melito.
