Jean Bixler

Jean Bixler 75, of Riverdale, NY died February 25, 2010. The daughter of William and Mary Parker she was born in the Bronx and raised in Rockaway Beach. She married Robert T. Bixler at St. Camillas in Rockaway Beach on April 5, 1952. Jean was a teller at Chase Manhattan Bank for over 18 years; a sales associate at Abraham and Straus for 25 years and also worked at Macy's. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Bixler Sr. a son Robert Bixler, Jr. and his wife Darlene, a daughter Lorraine Bixler, and grandson Dylan Bixler. She is also survived by a sister Frances Struble. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Parker. Mass of the Resurrection 10:45 Monday, March 1st, 2010 at St. Margaret's of Cortona, Riverdale, New York. Visiting will be 2-5 and 7-9PM Sunday, February 28th, 2010, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
