Andrew Williamson-Noble Dobbs Ferry, New York Obituary

Andrew Williamson-Noble

Andrew Edward Kirkley Williamson-Noble was born on May 21st, 1989 at Queen Mary's Hospital in Rohampton, London. He graduated from Irvington High School in 2007 where he was the founder of the fencing team for which he became captain and an All-League champion. He attended Pennoni Honors College at Drexel University and then transferred to New York University in 2008 to study East Asian Studies with a focus on the Chinese language and a minor in Business. He had explored the world during his many travels and the countless books he read. He also cherished riding his motorbike, Loki, and the loving camaraderie that accompanied it. Andrew's gifts and qualities are countless. They showed most in his unique sense of humor and an enormous head of hair. He was proud of his family and his heritage. He is survived by a beloved 22-year-old sister, Florentina, whom he adored and hoped to emulate. She has a master's degree in International Public Administration from NYU. He is also survived by his 14 year old brother, Robert, a freshman at Irvington High School and a member of the Cross Country Team. As Andrew looked up to Florentina, Robert looked up to Andrew. Andrew, Florentina and Robert had been the honorary co-chairs of the Windflower Ball, a fundraiser in memory of Robert's twin brother, Alexander, who died of SIDS in 1995. He is also survived by his parents, Esmeralda and Hugh, who are infinitely grateful to have been given 20 years to love Andrew in this world and forever after in the next. Funeral service Sunday 2:00pm St. Barnabas Church, N. Broadway, Irvington, NY Visiting Saturday 3:00pm to 4:30pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. The family and all of the friends are grateful for all of the prayers, flowers and food that have nourished our spirit as well as our bodies. Offers for help keep coming in and we would like that help to be in the form of further support to enable us to give Andrew the royal send off that our prince deserves.
