Rosina Coulehan
Rosina Coulehan, 83, adored wife, mother, and grandmother, and a lifelong Dobbs Ferry resident, died on September 28, 2009. Rosina was born in Dobbs Ferry to Nicolo and Victoria Mantello of Calabria, Italy, and she attended Ardsley schools and the Columbia School of Nursing. Rosina met Robert Coulehan after nursing school at the Columbia University's Newman Club. They married on June 14, 1952 at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Rosina had a rewarding career, working as a registered nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital's Neurological Institute, Baylor University Hospital in Texas, White Plains Hospital and Sprain Brook Manor Nursing Home. Rosina and her husband were avid opera buffs, loved ballroom dancing, and were longtime members of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Opera. Rosina was also a valued member of the Dobbs Ferry Women's Club and the Ardsley Garden Club, and she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, her devoted children Jeanne Coulehan, Susan Peter Porcino, Vincent Dolores Coulehan, Mary Jerry March and Robert Nancy Coulehan, and her 9 adoring grandchildren Marissa, Eric, Peter, Mark, Julia, Laura, Michael, Jeffrey and Robert. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11AM on Saturday at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Dobbs Ferry. The family requests that donations be sent to a cancer research charity of your choice.September 28, 200909/28/2009
