He was a professor of business management and an administrator in a number of positions at Baruch College, CUNY, most recently as Provost and Vice-president of Academic Affairs and Special Assistant to the President. He was a voracious reader, a serious collector of historic children's books, an avid sports fan Tar-Heels, Yankees, etc and a faithful armchair Jeopardy player. We'd all put our money on him for beating all of us in completing the NY Times Sunday crossword puzzle.
