Felicitas Peters

Sr. Felicitas Peters, M.S.C, died August 12, 2007 at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry. She was born Eugenia Victoria on March 15, 1914 in Santa Cruz, Mexico, daughter of Louis and Deebe Tomas Abraham Mansour Peters. On April 20, 1932 she entered her order, professing her first vows in Dobbs Ferry, on August 18, 1934 and her final vows on October 12, 1946 in Scranton, PA. During her long service to her order she taught at schools in Brooklyn, Scranton, Dobbs Ferry, Conshohocken, PA, and Philadelphia. She finished her service as Sacristan and laundress at St. Cabrini Nursing Home from 1975-2001, when she retired. She was beloved by the residents and staff at St. Cabrini. Mass of Christian Burial 1pm Friday, St. Cabrini Chapel, visiting from 12 noon.
