Stuart I. Dworkin, 81, a resident of Yonkers for the last 65 years, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 after a short illness. Born in Brooklyn, he was a graduate of the Bronx HS of Science and Kansas State University, where he was a huge Wildcat fan. He served in the Army National Guard for 4+ years. Stuart had an active Accounting practice in Yonkers for the last 40+ years with many loyal clients and staff. He was active as a former ward leader and in the Hillcrest Lakers Sports and an avid tennis player. Stuart was a longtime member of the former Midchester Jewish Center. He was also an avid Corvette lover. Stuart is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandy and his sister Linda and husband Jay. He is also survived by his son, Jeff and wife Ricki and their three children Sami, Emily and Josh. His daughter, Bonni and her children Julian and Eric and their Dad Larry. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well. Stu, as all his friends called him, was the life of every party. Each year he would throw a party at West Point for an Army football game that in the last few years has grown to a crowd nearing 100! Stu would want all to celebrate his life and not mourn his death for long. Funeral Service 11:30am Monday with gathering starting 10:30am at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
