Franky Gonzalez of Yonkers, New York passed away on Friday, May 15th, 2020 at the age of 59. He was born in New York on June 27, 1960 to the late Marcos and Florentina Gonzalez. Franky was an employee of the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority for over 30 years and worked as a Train Operator. Franky was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His two two sons Franky Gonzalez Jr. and Jeremy Gonzalez were his two greatest loves and accomplishments. He had an avid appreciation for music, movies, food and travel. But it goes without saying that he was known for his Casanova approach to charming the ladies. He had a "take life as it comes" way of thinking, with a kind and generous spirit. To know Franky was to have a true friend you could trust and rely on. Franky is predeceased by his father Marcos Gonzalez, mother Florentina Gonzalez and brother Marcus Gonzalez. He is survived by his two sons Franky Gonzalez Jr. and Jeremy Gonzalez, grand daughter Amber, siblings Yvette, Edwin, Nancy and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause us pain, but you are forever in our hearts until we meet again.
