Scott Canfield passed away peacefully on September 22, 2016. A property master for motion pictures and proud member of Local 52 IATSE retired, he was 56. Raised in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., he attended Ardsley, N.Y., schools. He was well respected and admired by his colleagues for his incredible talents and loved by all for his generosity and sense of humor. He shared his warm heart with everyone he met. He had a deep passion for family, boats and YAHTZEE!!! Scott is predeceased by his adored father, William Canfield, his eldest brother William Canfield, and his beloved sister Pamela. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Canfield, his wife, Caren Keller, his devoted sisters Barbara Souter Richard, Patrice Longo Peter, Debbie Canfield, Kelly Canfield Kevin Raffa, Jacquie Mahon Kevin, his loving brother Philip Canfield Kathleen, his 12 adoring nieces and nephews, and his step-daughters Nicole and Sammi Niss. The family will be receiving visitors from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, 417 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, N.Y.
