Catherine R. Whiting 77, of Irvington died July 12, 2005. She was born on December 26, 1927 in Lowell, Mass. to Bernard and Katherine Grant Ready. In the early 1950's she was in charge of the Children's Museum in Brooklyn. Catherine was a teacher in the New York City Schools. Prior to teaching she worked as an Executive at Bristol Meyers . Survived by her husband Charles S. Whiting, son Charles S. Whiting Jr., daughter Kate Whiting, grandchildren Charles S. Whiting III, Alexandra R. Whiting, Nicholas F. Roll, Katherine Grant Wei Roll, sister Mary F. McEachern and a brother Charles Ready.
