Ida Loretta Vendetti, age 92, of Hastings-On-Hudson, NY passed away on April 11, 2020. Born to Antonio and Margherita Venditti in Fontana Liri, Italy in 1927, Ida emigrated to the United States as a young child through Ellis Island and has been a resident of Hastings-On-Hudson ever since. Ida worked on Madison Avenue in Manhattan in the advertisement agency, most notably as Vice-President Broadcast Manager for RJR Nabisco until her retirement in the early 1990's. In addition to her parents, Ida was predeceased by her sister Venezia Bannon in 1988. She is survived by her sister Alfa M. Gunzenhauser and her husband Gerry of Winston Salem, NC. Ida also is survived by many nieces and nephews including members of the Bannon family, the Gunzenhauser family, the Arone family and the Coupe family. In addition to being "Aunt Ida" to her family, Ida enjoyed fashion, her dog LuLu and her long-time affiliation as a member of St. Matthew's Church in Hastings. The family would like to thank Ida's dear friend Mary Thomas and all the healthcare workers who assisted during these final years. A private service will be held for family only followed by a memorial mass conducted at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hastings-On-Hudson PBA at 7 Maple Ave. in Hastings, NY would be appreciated.
