SCARPARO, ANTHONY G. - SCARPARO, ANTHONY G.Anthony G. Scarparo, born August 14, 1912, son of John Scarparo and Erminia Sorice Scarparo, died April 11, 2005 at his home in Irvington. He served his nation honorably during WWII in the US Army Antiaircraft battalion, stationed in Europe and Africa. Prior to retirement, he was a highly sought after stylist at Bonwit Teller in White Plains and Eastchester, where he was known as "Mr. Victor" to his clientele. He is predeceased by his sister, Rose Festa, of Elmsford and is survived by another sister, Paula Palladino of Irvington; formerly Pauline Stone of Tarrytown; two nephews, three nieces and many great and great-great nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed. Service at EDWARDS-DOWDLE FUNERAL HOME, Dobbs Ferry, Friday at 10 am and interment at Sleepy Hollow. Visiting, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
