Daniel J. Kelly

Daniel Joseph Kelly, 90, long time resident of Ardsley, passed away in his sleep on January 18th, 2019. Dan was loved by all who knew him, and welcomed everyone with an open heart. He was devoted to his wife, Lou Ann (Fedderson) of 62 years and was a loving father to his son Thomas (Trish). He is also survived by three loving grandchildren, Matthew, Christine, and Maureen. He was born in Yonkers to Dr. Thomas P. and Mary Kelly, the youngest of four children. He graduated from Gorton HS, where his father was principal, Columbia University in 1950, and later received his MBA from Iona. Dan served in the Army during the Korean War and left the service with the rank of Captain. He worked for Union Carbide as a senior account executive in the chemical sales division. Dan was always active in the village of Ardsley, and was on the village board for several years. He was also involved with the Little League, American Legion Post 458, and church activities. Dan's outgoing and caring nature will be missed by all who knew him, though he will be remembered by his kindness, vast knowledge, and quick wit.
