Cleda M. Janke, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 31st, 2022. Cleda was born to John Mooney & Edna Smith in London Kentucky on February 9th, 1932. Cleda owned Ginger & Spice Ladies Fashions where she worked for over 45 years.  She loved her job and her customers even more.  She loved her family, and friends and made every holiday and birthday extra special for everyone.  She loved life and gave her whole heart in everything she did.

Cleda was preceded in death by her parents John Mooney, Edna Smith, her husband Charles Janke, her sisters Lee Crook, Mae Alderson, Faye Grubbs, and brother Jim Mooney.

Cleda is survived by her son Carl Hoeping, (wife Melissa) Daughter Kellie Veerkamp, husband Kevin, sister in law Nancy Mooney-Smith, grandchildren, Justin Hoots, Brian Hoots (Stacey wife) Antonia Hoeping, great grandchildren Jayden, Kendyl, Riley, Aaliyah, Cameron, and Devon.

A visitation will be held on Monday August 8th, 2022, from 4pm to 8pm at Wilson St. Pierre - Franklin Township, 5950 W Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday August 9th, 2022, at 1pm with an hour visitation prior to services at Wilson St. Pierre - Franklin Township, 5950 E. Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237.
