<p>Peter Hodges, 90, passed away on August 1, 2022.&nbsp; He was the loving husband of the late Rita (Pinsky) Hodges with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.</p> <p>Born in New Haven, Connecticut on August 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Sarah Vernon Hodges.&nbsp; Peter was a proud grandfather and never missed an academic, concert or sporting event.&nbsp; He attended all the girl&rsquo;s youth team soccer games and wrote weekly articles highlighting all the players accomplishments that appeared in the Ipswich Chronicle. Peter was the Vice President of marketing for several publishing companies.&nbsp; He wrote and published a book, Magellan&rsquo;s Wake.&nbsp; He was an avid reader and sailor and, in his retirement, enjoyed building doll houses for his granddaughters.</p> <p>He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Rich Nastasi of Salem, Elizabeth and Joseph McCarthy of Ipswich, a daughter-in-law Sheila Hodges of Lowell, six grandchildren, Allison Mustoand her husband Sergio, Peter Hodges and his wife Alyssa, Charles Nastasi and his fianc&eacute;, Morgan Bresnahan, Frank Nastasi, Erica Verma and her husband Mayankand Abigail McCarthy.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his son Jonathan Hodges.</p> <p>Peter was loved by many and will be missed by nieces, Debbie, Leslie, Vickie and Jacquie, along with all of his friends at Oak Hill were he spent the last seven happy years.</p> <p>His funeral services will be private.&nbsp; Online condolences are available at www.morrisfh.com</p>

Peter Hodges, 90, passed away on August 1, 2022.  He was the loving husband of the late Rita (Pinsky) Hodges with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut on August 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Sarah Vernon Hodges.  Peter was a proud grandfather and never missed an academic, concert or sporting event.  He attended all the girl’s youth team soccer games and wrote weekly articles highlighting all the players accomplishments that appeared in the Ipswich Chronicle.
